ZDT (Z-Direction Tensile) This test uses double stick tape to attach the sample to anvils in a test instrument. The anvils are then separated while measuring the required force. The ZDT is a measure of the internal bond strength of the paper. It is particularly useful for measuring the internal bond strength of single ply sheets.
