This is the tendency of some materials to stick together when compressed. Blocking of paper or paperboards, particularly coated products, is evaluated by simulating the real world conditions of pressure, temperature, relative humidity, and moisture content, for some predetermined amount of time. We have devices to apply various amounts of pressure at various temperatures and relative humidities.
