This glue tester allows us to apply a dot of glue with a precise thickness. The tester compresses the samples for a specified amount of time, and then it separates the samples. It allows us to evaluate the amount of fiber tear and it gives an indication of the force required to separate the samples. We know that different substrates require different times to develop the glue bond for fiber tear.
